FF 1 is film a workshop that united a group of young filmmakers from around the world to build a « creative laboratory » nestled in an old textile factory in the region of Vercors in the mountains of south France. « The Old Barn », as they called it, was transformed into a film studio for five weeks. During that time, ten short films were produced, sharing the same teams, production equipment and facilities.
The project, produced by Art Park and supported by the Nordic Cultural Fund, brought together 11 different nationalities: France, Spain, Germany, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Morocco, Italy, Argentina and the United States.
A double DVD including the 10 films and a documentary about the project was published in February 2008. Please contact us if you are interested in receiving a copy.
